What is Endermologie?

Endermologie is a non-invasive technique for reducing the appearance of cellulite and in circumferential inches. Cellulite often shows up as dimpling on the skin, sometimes called the cottage cheese look, even in those who are regarded as quite fit. The look of cellulite does not necessary diminish with weight loss and liposuction fails to address this top layer of fat under the skin.

Endermologie is a painless, gentle procedure, that uses rollers which often feel like a deep tissue massage, over problem areas of the skin. Those opting for endermologie usually need at least 10 sessions of about 35 to 45 minutes each to see results and must also have regular maintenance treatments afterwards to maintain the smooth skin look.

Candidates for Endermologie

Endermologie works best on candidates who take good care of themselves. Those who do not regularly exercise may see only temporary results and those over 30 pounds (13.60 kg) overweight tend not to not fully benefit from the procedure as much. However, individual results vary a great deal, so it's essential to get a free consultation to see if you are a candidate. It's best to be assessed in person, but a lot can be determined over the phone.

Beyond regular exercise, drinking water on the day of your treatment helps yield a better result. Therefore we ask our clients to drink plenty of water prior to the procedure, and to maintain this habit daily afterwards. We also highly recommend a whole foods diet that is rich in fruits and vegetables that is low in grain and and sugar high in lean protein.
